This beautiful sunrise engagement session at Cades Cove in Tennessee with Trey and Catherine was such a beautiful opportunity to capture the love these two share for each other! When we were planning their engagement session, Trey and Catherine told me that hey really wanted a whimsical engagement session that they would be able to showcase the joy they feel when they are around each other and their excitement for their future together. We were able to combine fun poses and prompts to make sure that they felt totally themselves and bring those feelings to life in images that they'll be able to look back on for years to come!
Cades Cove in Tennessee Beauty
They chose Cades Cove for beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains and the variety of backdrops that the location has to offer. Cades Cove is one of my favorite locations for mountain views in the Smoky Mountains National Park! Cades Cove offers such an incredible variety of backdrops from mountains, to streams, forests, and historic rustic cabins.
One of the logistical concerns that's always at the forefront of Cades Cove engagement sessions, is planning for the crowds and traffic. It’s no secret that Cades Cove is also one of the most heavily trafficked locations in the National Park, so we opted for a sunrise session to beat the crowds. Having your engagement session at sunrise is the best way to start the morning! The mountains are filled with fresh crisp air, the birds are singing, and the tourists haven't arrived yet it's almost like you get this incredible slice of the National Park all to yourself.
A Beautiful Chilly Sunrise Engagement
The story of Trey and Catherine's Engagement Session: We all woke up early and ventured into Cades Cove for their sunrise engagement session. It was a chilly morning for early spring, but we didn’t care, the mountains were calling! 15 minutes into our session, Catherine kicked off her high-heels and ran barefoot beneath the mountains and the rising sun- not a care in the world!
It makes me so incredibly happy to create a space where couples feel comfortable enough to truly be themselves and be in the moment. It’s such an honor to be invited to capture the most intimate moments that couples typically only share with each other. These two shared such beautiful moments together during their Cades Cove in Tennessee engagement. We were able to get the chance to be playful, have fun and also capture the sweet moments too! Loved these two so much!
