Heather and Dan’s Cades Cove sunset engagement photos were filled with beautiful scenery, adventure, and so many laughs! We arrived at Cades Cove just before sunset and got to dance our way through golden hour in the mountains!

These two are the ultimate adventurers and after talking to Heather, I couldn’t wait to incorporate all of the different facets of their personalities and relationship in their sunset engagement photos! Heather and Dan are both competitive Ninja Warriors so being active and seeking out new experiences together is a big aspect of their relationship! Cades Cove proved to be the perfect location to show off their love for hiking and exploring while also making a beautiful backdrop for their sweet and romantic side. Our plan for their session was to make memories, have fun, and create beautiful photos! As soon as we met it felt like we had been friends for ages and we just got to adventure around Cades Cove talking, laughing, soaking in the scenery, and capturing their love story!

As a licensed Smoky Mountain Photographer, I love having the opportunity to provide couples with fun adventures and epic backdrops for their engagement sessions! I’m so excited to capture their Smoky mountain wedding at an intimate cabin in Gatlinburg at the end of the summer! Large cabins in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville make great Smoky Mountain Wedding Venues!
