When Shelby was visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee she reached out to me because she wanted to have her maternity photos taken surrounded by the Smoky Mountains. We chased the sunset through the mountains as golden hour lit up this beautiful mama-to-be!
As a Licensed Smoky Mountain Photographer and CUA holder with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I couldn't wait to bring Shelby to some of my favorite places in the National Park! Maternity photos in the mountains are my absolute favorite. Any expecting mamas looking to have their Maternity photos taken near Knoxville, Tennessee- I highly recommend exploring the Great Smoky Mountains! The best time for Maternity Photos is at approximately 30 weeks. But maternity photos at 28 weeks or even 20 weeks can still look stunning- it's whatever you prefer! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident during your maternity session. I also highly recommend finding a maternity photoshoot dress or outfit that you feel beautiful in- I love to photograph flowy material because it just adds such a beautiful and whimsical effect to your maternity photos.
