So, you are wanting to get married in Knoxville? Congrats! And, how exciting!! But, you don't know where to to have your wedding located and what venue to choose - well don't worry I have you covered! I am giving you the rundown on how to find the perfect Knoxville wedding venue for your special day. Ready? Let's get to it!

My Top Tips On How To Find The Right Knoxville Wedding Venue For You:

Think About Your Overall Vibe Of Your Wedding Day

Think about what you’re envisioning for your wedding day and make sure that the vibe of the wedding venue fits the look you’re going for. The right Knoxville wedding venue will bring your vision to life and set the stage for your wedding day. Some of these vibes may include:

Rustic. If you’re looking for a rustic wedding venue in Knoxville TN that still offers elegance, romance, and an upscale experience- look no further than Marblegate Farms in Friendsville, TN. Marblegate Farms is the perfect balance between rustic and elegant for your wedding day!

Modern. A great modern wedding venue in Knoxville, TN is the Knoxville Museum of Art. If you're looking for the perfect place for a modern wedding in Knoxville, the Knoxville Museum of Art is a great option! The museum is made of steel and concrete with floor-to-ceiling windows, and rooftop terrace gardens overlooking the Sunsphere! This modern wedding venue is a great space that will “wow” your wedding guests.

Industrial. One of the most beautiful industrial wedding venues in Knoxville is The Press Room located downtown. The Press Room flawlessly marries industrial design with chic accents!

Classic. Dara’s Garden Wedding Venue located just south of Knoxville is a beautiful classic wedding venue that offers private gardens and a historic home on-site. Walking onto the property at Dara’s Gardens is like stepping into a fairytale.

Think About Your Guest List

When thinking about your guest list, think: are you planning an intimate wedding day with only your closest family and friends? Or does the wedding day of your dreams include a big celebration with close to 200 people? It’s important to get a rough idea of your guest list before looking at venues so you know exactly what kind of capacity your venue will need.

One of my favorite Knoxville Venues for Intimate Weddings is The Ivey House in Seymour, TN. The Ivey House is the perfect wedding venue for an intimate affair because it’s nestled right between downtown Knoxville and the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The ceremony space is adjacent to beautiful woods just steps from the incredibly preserved historic home on-site where bridal parties can get ready. The Ivey House also offers a beautifully renovated indoor reception space!

An awesome Knoxville Wedding Venue for a large wedding is The Quarry Wedding Venue just outside of Knoxville, TN. The Quarry is one of the most unique wedding venues that Knoxville has to offer! It’s a historic quarry that has been preserved and turned into a ceremony space that creates an incredible ambiance and experience for your wedding day. The property also features a massive reception space that can hold up to 300 guests!

Think About The Location & Experience

Consider the location of your venue and how that will play into the overall experience of your guests. If you have a lot of guests coming into Knoxville from out of town, choosing a wedding venue near downtown Knoxville may be a great option because there are lots of things to do downtown and guests will be able to easily get around from local accommodations to your wedding venue! Some of my favorite downtown Knoxville Wedding Venues are:

The Standard Wedding Venue: The Standard is a beautiful industrial wedding venue located in downtown Knoxville! This venue has so much potential you can really bring any vision for your wedding to life here!

The Press Room Wedding Venue: The Press Room in downtown Knoxville seamlessly weaves together historic charm with modern elegance. This newly renovated warehouse venue offers tons of space for you and your guests, intimate cafe lighting strung throughout, and beautiful exposed brick!

Jackson Terminal in Knoxville: Jackson Terminal is located right in the center of the Historic Old City of downtown Knoxville and offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for your guests to enjoy! This venue also has loads of historic charm like exposed brick and massive arching windows overlooking some of Knoxville’s oldest buildings.
