A Glimpse Into Their Magical Boho Wedding Day At Fall Creek Falls State Park

Katie and Justin got ready at separate ends of the recreation hall at Fall Creek Falls State Park and forgoed a first look because seeing each other down the aisle for the first time was a moment they’ve been dreaming about- and that moment truly did not disappoint. Their ceremony location was a hidden overlook nestled just across the largest waterfall in East Tennessee which made not only a beautiful backdrop, but also made for an incredibly peaceful soundtrack to their ceremony accompanied by the Strings players who made us all emotional as Katie walked down the aisle and Justin laid eyes on her. Justin’s dad, and also their officiant, looked at his son with tears welling up in his eyes and just beamed with pride. The moment was absolutely perfect.

After their ceremony, we got to adventure all around Fall Creek Falls State Park. We started at an overlook that was nestled behind the trees and that’s where Katie and Justin read their private vows to each other. They wanted to have this moment just to themselves as they shared their emotional promises to each other. Next we headed to a mountain lookout that showed off the layers or blue-hued hills as far as the eye could see- the sun created the most beautiful haze as it was setting across the ridgeline. And finally, we ended at one of the waterfalls in the state park! Katie and Justin scaled rocks and hiked over tree-limbs like pros in their wedding attire! Hiking is one their favorite things to do together as a couple so it was super fun that they got to create a memory like that on their wedding day too!

Eventually we made our way back to their reception where family and friends were waiting with sparklers to greet the newlyweds! Katie and Justin did a sparkler entrance and then headed straight to their Nacho/ Taco bar for some hot food before their dearest friends delivered emotional and heartfelt speeches to conclude an incredibly memorable and intentional wedding day.
